We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defense. We pray when there’s nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all, because this is our source of happiness. 
Let us therefore educate ourselves  not to listen to our minds so much, bur rather stop to hear God's voice.

There were three archbishops: Joel of Edessa, Ambrose of Peterhof, the dean of the St. Petersburg's Theological Academy, and Philaret of Lvov and Galicia and the Abbot of the Monastery of Zographou, Elder Ambrose.
