Regular Members are natural and legal persons, owners or administrators of at least one digital medium and are separated into the following categories:
(a) Digital Publishers: producers of mostly original Christian Orthodox content.
(b) Digital Media of Patriarchates, Autocephalous Churches and their Eparchies (Metropoles or Dioceses).
(c) Digital Media of Parishes. Holy Monasteries, Church Institutions and Missionary Activities.
(d) Digital Media of Academic Institutions: University Schools, Church Academies and so on.
Criteria which Regular Members must meet:
- Produce and publish mainly spiritual content.
- Retain a spirit of fraternity, a loving ethos and loyalty to the Church authority to which they are subject.
- Renew their content within a reasonable length of time.
Regular Members play an active role in the life of the Association. Regular members have the right to take cognizance of the issues and decisions of the Board which affect the life and activity of the Association. Regular members attend the General Assembly of members and have the right to elect two representatives as members of the Board.
Initial Regular Members are defined as those speakers at the 1st (www.dmopc15.com) and 2nd (www.dmopc18.com) International Conference of Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care, are owners or administrators of at least one digital medium and meet the above criteria.
New regular members may be received into the Association upon their application and the decision by the Board of the Association, following a recommendation on behalf of Saint Maxim the Greek Institute.
