Associate Members are natural or legal persons whose activities or interests are in the field of Orthodox Christian theology and pastoral care and who are supporters of the principles and activities of the Association, or have evinced practical, teaching or academic, activity in the field of Christian Orthodox Digital Media.
Cultivation of other activities beyond the above is no bar to their acceptance as associate members. Associate members may also be administrators of Internet sites for the Church press and news services, or legal or natural persons proposed by the Board at its discretion, persons capable of contributing to the work and aims of the Association.
Associate members may be clergymen involved with digital media, staff members in communication departments of official Church agencies anywhere in the world, university teachers, students or graduates dealing with Christian Orthodox pastoral digital networks, or the general public who share an interest in the aims of the Association.
Initial Associate Members are defined as those speakers at the 1st (www.dmopc15.com) and 2nd (www.dmopc18.com) International Conference of Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care who are not Regular Members.
Associate Members participate in the sessions of the General Assembly and have the right to elect a representative of theirs as member of the Board.
Associate Members may take part in scientific committees/work groups as these shall be determined by the Board of the Association.
The Board of the Association may designate new Associate Members, at the proposal of two Regular Members
